Porcelain jasper is a type of jasper that's named for its off-white base color, which resembles ceramic porcelain. It's a brecciated jasper found in the Sonora Mountains of Northern Mexico, near Sonora and Sierra Madre. The name is descriptive because some specimens look like they're made up of porcelain fragments. Other synonyms and trade names for porcelain jasper include Exotica and Sci-Fi Jasper.

Porcelain jasper can also contain inclusions of cream, dark pink, grey, and brown. It can range in size from 5–50 lbs and can have exotic patterns and formations.

Porcelain jasper is often used in jewelry making and is said to have metaphysical properties. It's believed to promote a sense of balance and harmony, and to ground and stabilize the body, mind, and spirit. It's also associated with protection, warding off negative energies, and promoting a sense of security and well-being. Some say it can help people feel more connected to the earth and provide emotional healing and support.

Porcelain jasper pairs well with silver metals and looks lovely with amethyst or rose quartz.
